The Nebraska Civil Air Patrol is a non-profit (IRS 501c3) company and state chapter of the national Civil Air Patrol (CAP) organization. Our operations utilize light air single engine aircraft, ground response vehicles, and professionally trained/ certified staff to provide search and rescue support, aerial reconnaissance imagery, interim tactical communications, and emergency transport of humanitarian supplies at a cost per hour that is a mere fraction of traditional public safety or military assets. Our one of a kind cadet program provides youth 12 to 20 years of age opportunities to solo fly an airplane for the first time through a flight encampment or academy.
